Kirby Property Management was founded by Mark Charles Kirby Procter who, from a background of sales and commercial management in larger organisations, became a property-owning landlord in 2001. From this direct, hands-on management experience, along with the e-commerce potential of the times, came the birth of the company.
Kirby Property Management is considered a new breed of letting agent;opening for business with the launch of its own, self-designed web site in 2001. In 2003 Kirby opened its first office, in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire, and currently has a lettings market share of 71% in this locality.
Today, the company retains all its original ingredients, which enables it to deliver a successful service for landlords and tenants: supported by a dedicated, and skilled team of staff with a wide selection of combined skills, brings the best results in a demanding area of property services.
The business is now equipped and organized for future expansion with the appointment of Mr. Andrew Ward as branch 2 Director. Kirby’s membership of NALS (National Approved Letting Scheme) means it is regulated and bonded for client monies to £3 million. Assured shorthold tenancy deposits are also protected, through membership of the DS Government-backed deposit scheme.
