Please note if you have purchased your rental property from a builder within the last 5 years or you have recently undergone re wiring, you may possess a certificate entitled domestic installation certificate 10 years. This can be used for the first 5 years in respect of renting your property. Once the first five years has expired a periodic wiring inspection certificate can be purchased to cover the next five years of renting your property.

It should be noted that periodic wiring inspection reports can bring up faults or safety issues that may need further work or investigation. If this happens a quotation will be prepared with those recommendations for you approval. A replacement certificate is issued at the end of any remedial electrical works without charge if carried out with us.
